tonight, we had surprise visitors. Friends that we havent seen for around 18 months dropped by.
'K' and I have so much in common and hit it off instantly when we first met 9 years ago. Her children are similar ages to ours, we are the same age, she got married the week before me so is also celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary.
I havent seen her for so long as shes had a lot of personal things going on in her life, but rather than talk she cuts herself off from people. I think its her way of coping with things, if you dont talk about them they might go away...not! anyway thats besides the point.
Ive still kept in touch with her by cards etc but not pushed the issue, so you cant begin to imagine the grin on my face when I saw her at my front door this evening...Ive missed her and her friendship so much.
Sadly she cant make my 'do' but shes going to be having her own break, celebrating her birthday and anniversary in sunny Portugal. Have a fab time hunny and I look forward to seeing you when you get back. xx

PS. Fabby news too, my other gorgeous friend got her dress from Debenhams..Yay! really pleased, its a stunner!
